Aliyah Walker is a new senior transfer student from Garner High School, and this is her first year as a staff writer for the GHFalcon. Over the summer, she participated in Smile Camp, which is a kid’s science camp in Cary/Raleigh. Gaining patience and learning to project her voice were one of the many skills she learned from this program. During her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, scrolling on pinterest (especially spiritual quotes), watching hockey/basketball, and spending time with her family.  Family is a top priority for Aliyah.  She also enjoys a wide variety of cuisines: Italian, Mexican, and Chinese. Two of her favorite restaurants, Noodles and Company and Moe's, happen to be just around the corner.  Aliyah loves traveling, and she hopes to one day visit Italy (potentially live there).  As of now, she has aspirations to go to UNC Chapel Hill next year and study Marketing/Education.
