Engel Vega, Staff Writer
Engel is a freshman at Green Hope High School and is in his first year writing for the GH Falcon. Ten years ago, he took a huge leap to come to the US, hailing originally from the Dominican Republic. Despite the move, he still maintains a strong connection with his culture and his love for mangoes. Engel has a great passion for basketball and baseball, even earning a position as the basketball team leader for two consecutive years in middle school. He lives with both of his parents and his two younger siblings. Even without prior experience of journalism or any media production, he is eager to learn and contribute to providing news and content for the GH Falcon. He firmly believes that his writing will help other people be informed about the current and relevant events happening locally and nationally.
