Jayson DeSantis, Staff Writer
Jayson DeSantis, a senior and former member of three athletic programs at Green Hope, fills the room with a light and positive aura. Beyond the classroom, Jayson volunteers at his church, and has gone on four domestic mission trips helping communities in need. He loves slushies, and pond fishing is his favorite pastime. He credits his hard work to his dad, who raised him to be a leader and use communication to his advantage. His favorite way to spend a night is with his friends, playing poker and eating snacks. He plans to attend a four-year university next year, but is undecided in the major and school he plans to go to. DeSantis views the newspaper as a way to connect more deeply with the school community before graduation. As a new staff writer, Jayson plans to prove his hard work and interviewing skills to the students around him.
