Though held on April Fools’ Day, the Senior Breakfast was no joke!

From 9am to 10:15am, seniors were freed from their homerooms to be treated with sunshine, Chick Fil A, and a spontaneous conga line. And not just the ordinary conga line, a massive Green Hope senior one. Popular songs like The Wobble and Olivia Rodrigo’s good 4 u played loudly for students to dance to after their delectable breakfast. In proper picnic style, seniors got out towels, lawn chairs, and even Spikeball or jump rope to just hang out with friends.

The PTSA worked very hard on customized cookies, a vegetarian inclusive menu, and even an enthusiastic professional DJ to commemorate the Senior Class. With long lines for tickets surrounding the commons the week prior, students hoped for a tasty meal. Maggie Bowersox said, “I didn’t really expect much. I just thought we would be eating breakfast, but it was a lot of fun with the nice weather and being able to hang out with friends.”

Lyla Sullivan appreciated the hour of just simple fun, “I loved dancing to Golden by Harry Styles with my friends.”

All in all, the Class of 2022 enjoyed their celebration for the togetherness. A common sentiment the Class of 2022 has been saying is, “I can’t believe we’re seniors!”
