Smoothie bowls from Nautical Bowl: the Nauti Bowl contains acaí, pitaya, freshly ground peanut butter, crunchy granola, and cacao nibs. The Sunrise Bowl contains blue majik, pitaya, granola, bananas, strawberries and honey.

National Acaí Bowl Day was Saturday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a sweet treat any day of the week! Below, you will find a list of places that are happy to provide you with precisely the type of acaí bowl you’re craving.

Tropical Smoothie:

As summer approaches, the popularity of acaí bowls is spreading to many businesses, especially Tropical Smoothie. As Green Hope’s primary smoothie supplier, the company is making a notable effort to adhere to fads and trends in the food world, as seen on social media. The lunch hot spot has added a new section for acaí bowls. Although only four different bowls are currently on the menu, bad reviews about these sweet, refreshing treats are rare.

Smoothie King:

Smoothie King has also recently added acai bowls to its menu. These creatively named snacks come in eight varieties, from the PB Swizzle Bowl to the Coco-pitaya-Yah Bowl. With the familiarity of traditional Smoothie King flavors like blueberry, peanut butter, and chocolate and acai bowl toppings like bananas and granola, Smoothie King’s proximity and accessibility make it an excellent choice for a quick grab-and-go.

Nautical Bowl:

Nautical Bowl is a new smoothie bowl destination in Parkside Town Commons that opened on March 17th. They have ten primary bowls containing many different superfoods, most of which are not found at other smoothie bowl places around the area. All bowls are plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free. Nautical Bowl makes sure that all of its bowls are organic and all-natural. The place is beachy-themed, with fun, vibrant pictures and colors on the walls. The bowls come in four sizes: Student Bowl is 5oz,  Dinghy is 12oz, Cruiser is 16oz and the Yacht is 24oz. Unlike other places where you can get acai bowls, Nautical specializes in bowls, which is the only product they sell. This is a great place to get a healthy, refreshing and tasty snack, even if it’s more pricey.

Clean Juice:

Clean Juice is in Park West, outside the movie theater. It specializes in healthy smoothies, acai bowls, juices, and healthy foods such as sandwiches, salads, toasts, and wraps. All bowls are healthy and nutritious; some are very specialized, including the Cold Brew Bowl, Carrot Cake Bowl, and Dragon Fruit Bowl. Clean Juice provides a variety of exciting items such as cherries, pineapple, dates and coconut and unordinary ingredients such as maple syrup, maca root, goji berries, spirulina, camu camu and more.

Next time you’re thinking of going out for a snack, keep these places in mind. Combat the heat with a rich, nutrient-filled Acai Bowl!
