Olivia Rodrigo announced her Unraveled Tour on April 30, 2026. The concerts will consist of songs from her upcoming album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” which releases on June 12, as well as her previous albums, GUTS and SOUR. Her upcoming album is speculated to be about her relationship with actor Louis Partridge, due to references to “Pieces and a Gemini” in her song “Drop Dead.” The two songs we know from her new album so far are “Drop Dead,” released on the 17th of April, and “Begged,” which she performed for the first time on May 2 during Saturday Night Live. Her first album, SOUR, was released in 2021 at age 18, and her second album, GUTS, was released in 2023 at age 20. This will be Rodrigo’s third Tour at only 23 years old.
Rodrigo has been singing since she started singing lessons at only five years old and booked her first acting role in an Old Navy commercial at six years old, which she revealed in her Saturday Night Live Monologue on May 2. When she was ten, she starred in her first movie, “An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success” as the main character, Grace. She then starred alongside wrestler Jake Paul and co-star Madison Hu in the Disney hit show Bizaardvark as Paige Olvera from 2016 to 2019. Then, in late 2019, she landed the role of Nini Salazar-Roberts in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and stayed till 2022, completing three seasons of the series. Rodrigo has been on Saturday Night Live three times now, and most recently was a host and a musical guest.

Eva Sanchez (‘29) is one of the many Livies, which is what the fans of Olivia Rodrigo call themselves. She expressed how excited she is for Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming tour. Sanchez has known Rodrigo from Bizaardvark before her debut as a singer and songwriter. “I am so excited for the Unraveled Tour. I get to see her next year in May. I am really excited to vibe with all the other Livies and make more memories, and also to just get to see her perform again.” Sanchez states excitedly. “I’m so excited for her new album ‘You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.’ The vibes of the album feel like they are going to be a mix of sad and happy. I’m just so excited to listen to it.” This will be Sanchez’s second time seeing Olivia Rodrigo performing, after she went to the GUTS World Tour in Charlotte, North Carolina. She explained this was a core memory, stating how she made so many memories from the GUTS tour and hopes the same for the Unraveled Tour.
The Unraveled Tour tickets went on pre-sale on Tuesday, May 5, and general sale on Thursday, May 7. The fans of Olivia, Livies, called the race to get tickets the “Ticketmaster Wars” because of all the chaos and difficulty it was to obtain these tickets. The Unraveled Tour consists of 86 shows starting in Hartford, Connecticut and ending in London. The concert venue that is the closest and most accessible to those living in North Carolina was in Charlotte at the Spectrum Center on October 7 and 8. Some of the tickets reached crazy high prices, reaching over 700 dollars a ticket for floor seats, while upper bowl seats and seats in Europe were between 88 and 250 dollars per ticket. When buying tickets, it was highly recommended that you get to the waiting room 30 minutes before the pre-sale and general sale started due to the craze of how many people wanted tickets.
Another passionate Livie is Natalie Dunaway (‘28). She got tickets to go and see Olivia Rodrigo on her Unraveled Tour in Tennessee and has additionally been to the GUTS World Tour in 2023. “I am so excited to go and see the Unraveled Tour. I’m most excited about the fact that I get to see it.” Dunaway states passionately. She has known who Rodrigo was way before she became a singer. “I knew who she was way before she started her singing career. This is because I grew up watching shows and movies like “An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success,” Bizaardvark, and also High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.” Dunaway states how long she has really known who Olivia Rodrigo was. “My favorite thing about her is how she expresses herself in general. She expresses herself how she wants to and expresses her music how she wants to also.” Dunaway expressed, explaining how Olivia Rodrigo has been a role model to many.
Olivia Rodrigo’s music has played a role model for so many people, and in particular, teen girls. She is very passionate about her music and her fans, and all of her songs have some relatable aspect to them.
