About the Contributor
Ian House, Staff Writer
Going into his senior year, Ian House has inspired and informed his community about regional politics since he was 14. He joined the GH Falcon because he believes that journalism is a powerful tool that connects people to their community. Ian hopes to help students stay connected to policy decisions, relevant news about the state government and being a more involved part of this community. He believes that being a part of the GH Falcon provides him an opportunity to be an informed member of Green Hope, as well as keep his peers educated on local political news. Additionally, Ian has a history in cross country and track and field which has kept him deeply involved with athletic programs at Green Hope as well. Outside of Green Hope, Ian is involved in activism regarding the state government, and learning more about the history of our community at museums. He volunteers to manage programs and engage visitors at history museums as well. Ian is very excited to use his skills for the GH Falcon this year.
