Best Black Friday deals

Many shoppers hope to buy Christmas gifts for low prices on Black Friday. (Y-Nhu Do)

Every year, shoppers leave their dinner table to line up outside of stores so they have a shot at the best sales of the year in what has come to be known as Black Friday.

The name “Black Friday” has varying origins. Some retailers claim that the name originates from companies entering the “black”  after exiting the “red.” Being in the red refers to companies who have not yet made overall profit in the calendar year. Stores recognized Black Friday to be the day where most retailers went into the black and began making overall profit. Other sources point to Black Friday originating from Philadelphia cops who had to deal with shopping chaos the day after Thanksgiving.

Companies have come to realize that they have the ability to gain significant sales during this time of year. Meanwhile, shoppers are also looking for Christmas presents for the upcoming holiday season. The GH Falcon compiled a list of stores that have the best Black Friday deals for you to check out!

Best Buy

Already known for regularly having some of the best deals in the technology market, Best Buy still finds a way to step up their game on Black Friday. Best Buy boasts deals such as up to $550 off regular laptops and even $600 off gaming laptops. Those looking to upgrade their phones can also save up to $1,000 on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max when trading in an eligible device.  Those looking for the perfect Christmas gift for their tech savvy loved ones can get started with their Christmas shopping online or in person at Best Buy.

Amazon

Encompassing nearly every market that one could think of, Amazon has something to fit a variety of needs. Online shopping has become popular in recent years giving shoppers the ability to not leave the house while saving big. Ring doorbells and Ring branded security systems are on sale for up to 50% off, making for a great gift to give to your friends and extended family.  With a vast majority of items from every category you can think of, Amazon will help you order fast from home while taking advantage of Black Friday sales.

Bass Pro Shops

Perhaps the most renowned outdoor store, Bass Pro Shops is known for its unique Black Friday incentives. Annually, the first 250 people at each Bass Pro Shops location on Black Friday receive gift cards that range in value from $10-$500. The cards are activated and last from Dec. 1 until Dec. 30 of the year the card was received. The gift cards aren’t the only incentive; Bass Pro Shops also holds some of the best deals in the outdoor gear industry. One such example is the Garmin 6x Pro Solar Edition GPS Smartwatch that is on sale for $399 as compared to its original price of $949.
