About the Contributors
Justin Jackson
Justin Jackson, Staff Writer
Justin is a senior at Green Hope, and this is his first year as a Staff Writer. Being in the Math Honors Society, he enjoys tutoring other students struggling with the subject and with SAT prep. Justin hopes to continue his studies outside of high school, wanting to get an MBA in Business with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, Justin is a big part of the Green Hope community as he is a part of many organizations like Student Council, Falcon Frenzy, and on the board of Green Hope's DECA chapter. On top of that, he's also a player on the Men's Soccer and Basketball team at school. If you ever want to grab a bite, you can often find Justin working at a popular Italian restaurant, Lugano's, over the weekend. He is passionate about helping others as well as being true to his interests. Besides school and work, Justin enjoys spending his time listening to music, lifting weights, and hanging out with friends.
Mason Dean
Mason Dean, Staff Writer
Mason is a junior at Green Hope and this is his first year on the staff. He loves sports and is on the varsity baseball and basketball teams here at Green Hope. Mason has a knack for math and history. Outside of school, he plays on a club baseball team and spends time with his 2 dogs, Margo and Olaf. While on break, Mason loves to travel to new places with his family. He has 3 siblings and in the future, he plans to play baseball in college and attain a mathematics degree.
Mason Cline
Mason Cline, Staff Writer
Mason is currently a junior at Green Hope High School and this is his first year on staff. He plays for the school’s varsity football team and hopes to study business at either NC State or UNC Wilmington. He spends his free time eating “good food”, especially sushi. As the youngest in a big family, Mason claims it was hard for him to figure out what he wanted to do. However, with a few English classes and a new found love for writing, joining the GH Falcon became an interest he could call his own. Nine times out of ten, if you ask Mason what he’s listening to, it’ll probably be a Travis Scott song.
Isabel Westerlund
Isabel Westerlund, Social Media Editor
Isabel Westerlund is a senior at Green Hope, and this is her second year on the staff of the GH Falcon. She has a passion for social media and enjoys interviewing and interacting with her fellow classmates. She loves being with friends, playing soccer, and creating fun videos and posts for the whole school to enjoy. Isabel also enjoys travelling and spent her summer in Norway, Washington DC, and Florida. She can't wait to see what this year will bring for ghfalcon.com and all of its socials.
