Summer concerts to look forward to

Summer is the ideal time to cruise over to a concert, with temperatures perfect and school out of season spend your nights making memories.

Concerts are a central part of a night out upon which other events should be based off of.

There are several key factors to consider when deciding which concerts to spend money on and attend. The artist or artists that are performing is the most important factor to consider when determining whether or not to attend a concert. This preference will simply come down to how much one likes the performers and if it is justified in their own personal opinion.

Attending concerts costs money, as well as other expenses such as gas money, food and maybe a hotel to spend the night if the concert is far away. The atmosphere that one will ultimately experience is also a core factor in deciding upon a concert to attend. The atmosphere is a direct reflection of the average listener of the performers. For example,  a George Strait concert is likely to be more tame and reserved since the average listener is older, which is a sharp contrast to a Drake concert.

Maroon 5

On June 27 Maroon 5 will be performing at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte. The band led by singer Adam Levine has been renowned for making pop music over the past few decades that adapts to the current state of the genre. With the concert being in Charlotte, attending can be a great way to make a trip that also spends time exploring the vibrant, expansive city.

Morgan Wallen

Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte is hosting the famed country artist, Morgan Wallen, on July 19. This event is sure to be one of the most explosive concerts over the entire summer. Since this concert is also relatively far from the Raleigh area, a day trip around the city is one way to enhance this concert experience.

Justin Timberlake

The renowned pop artist will be performing on June 12 at PNC Arena locally in Raleigh. For reference the arena is also home to the Carolina Hurricanes and its close proximity allows saving money on transportation and a swift return home afterwards.

T-Pain

The famous R&B hip-hop artist will be at the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre, Charlotte on June 26. The experience is sure to be energetic and will be a great way to start a long night out exploring the city. One may even seek to turn it into an overnight trip to allow for a delayed commute back home.

Deciding upon which concert to dedicate time and money towards is no easy task and ultimately the entire group attending should be involved in the decision making processes. Concerts create many fond memories and it’s important to make sure that the experience is maximized to the fullest.
