Kara Liang is a sophomore at Green Hope, and this is her first year in the GH Falcon as a staff writer. Kara started writing after being inspired by her mother’s love for creative writing, which ultimately led Kara to join the staff. Kara is also part of the school band, where she plays both the bassoon and the clarinet. During her free time, she volunteers in a Chinese school where she helps teach children how to read and speak Chinese. In the future, Kara hopes to attend law school and become a lawyer. She is super excited to be a part of the GH Falcon, learn more about journalism and to share her work throughout the year.
