At around 5:40 a.m. on a foggy Monday morning, a line of around 20 people already formed outside a Wake County DMV. Well before the office's hours would start, some people in line prepared foldable lawn chairs to wait outside.

The statue pictured was featured in the movie “Coming to America,” where Jones portrayed the role of King Jaffe Joffer, father of Eddie Murphy’s Prince Akeem. Jones played the character twice, both in the original as well as its sequel “Coming 2 America.” The statue now resides in the studio lots of Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles.
