Zoey Mapara is a senior at Green Hope High and is a Zimbabwean girl who recently moved to North Carolina this year from Missouri. She loves reading mystery and tragedy novels, writing short paragraphs of the same genres as well. Zoey admires how words invoke feelings strong enough to move people enough to advocate for themselves and others against issues that are not voiced loud enough. She also admires how they can change people’s opinions on topics as simple as one’s favorite color to one as important as which candidate someone would rather vote for in the presidential debate. She is excited to become a part of the Falcon community through journalism at Green Hope!
