As the seasons come and go, so does fashion with new trends, clothing lines and styles accompanying the different seasons. With fall here and winter right around the corner, retail stores have begun launching clothing lines that may suit consumers’ fancy this cooler season.
Popular names that may interest many consumers include Pacsun, Aerie and its parent company American Eagle, Altar’d State, Edikted, Old Navy, Abercrombie & Fitch, J.Crew, Hollister, Urban Outfitters and more! Additionally, department stores such as Macys, Belk, Target, Bloomingdales, Walmart and more have begun launching clothing apparel and decor alike.
It is noteworthy that summer clothing items and decor for many retail stores will be put on sale, as many products will soon be considered deadstock. Various items average 25-75% off among a large number of brands, a result of stores making room for the new clothing lines incoming. It wont hurt to take a look at the clearance rack during an upcoming shopping spree.
Beyond just clothing and decor, fast food and restaurants have also shifted their menus for the consumer bias. A noteworthy seasonal occurrence is the Pumpkin Spice treats that frequently appear on the menus of various restaurants. Consumers look forward to Starbuck’s pumpkin spice lattes that are limited to their fall menu, but other food places have started similar fall launches. For example, Dunkin has released its own pumpkin spice iced latte, as well as pumpkin donut and pumpkin loaf. Dairy Queen has also released new blizzards and shakes including the Caramel Toffee Cookie Blizzard, the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard and the Maple cookie shake. Denny’s also joined the scene with their pumpkin pecan pancake slam, and their competitor IHOP has also released their own pumpkin spice pancakes as well as maple pumpkin cheesecake pancakes.
Additionally, Krispy Kreme has released their glazed pumpkin spice donut, alongside their pumpkin spice cake donut and pumpkin spice latte. Other fast foods have released some fall items like Panera Bread, which released their autumn squash soup and Wendy’s spookier collab with Wednesday.
As well as all the name brands- many smaller and local businesses have been pursuing the festive route. Just taking a walk down downtown Raleigh, many small stores line the streets with goods more unique than the average mainstream shop.
Many stores, mainstream and not, have been producing their fall lines to accommodate the consumer wants for fall. Styles and lines will alter to appeal to the fashion trends that will present themselves over time. More apparel and delicious treats will come out as the fall season progresses.
